Fair point. The Danish original had the same setup, so I guess the Copenhagen PD was OK with it, too. I thought his cop's street experience made him a plausible fit for 911. But, yeah, a paper-pushing desk job would have been less stressful. If so, though, no drama, no movie.
I am watching it now. It is a gripping movie but it is a movie I only would watch one time

Yes, the technical question gets in the way of the drama!
